Dr. Sohaila Ammar is a passionate and skilled DHA and MOH-Licensed General Dentist with over 3 years of clinical experience. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Cairo, Egypt in 2019 and completed a Dental internship at the same institution in 2020. She is an expert in providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. She is dedicated to lifelong learning and advancement in her profession and participates in dental seminars and conferences on a regular basis.
Dr. Sohaila gained a plethora of knowledge and expertise while working in a number of prestigious institutions in Egypt and Dubai. She began her career at Elzagazig University Hospitals, Egypt in 2019 and at Egyptian Russian University, Cairo in 2020. She served at Dr. Mohamed Abo Elola Dental Clinic, Egypt from 2019 to 2021. During this time, she became proficient in many areas of dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of orofacial pains in adults and children, pulpotomy and pulpectomy for primary teeth, endodontic treatment for patients using manual and rotary systems, restorative treatment using composite, glass ionomer and amalgam restorations, direct and indirect pulp capping, and many more.
In March 2021, Dr. Sohaila became the Team Leader of One Central Vaccination Center at Dubai Health Authority. She did a phenomenal job of monitoring and following up on the vaccination process and training new staff.
Furthermore, Dr. Sohaila believes in developing long-term connections with her patients, based on respect, trust, confidence, and compassion. She aims to provide a comfortable and calming environment for her patients, and her friendly demeanour is extremely beneficial in lowering dental anxiety in patients. Besides, she is very patient and listens to her client’s concerns as well as informs them on the best and most effective options for their dental treatment and care.
Aside from that, she enjoys working with colleagues and passing on her knowledge to them. She further loves working as part of a team and coordinating with her co-workers for the benefit of the public. Dr. Sohaila is keen to interact with her patients in meaningful and productive ways. She is highly creative, has outstanding problem-solving abilities, and works with empathy. She genuinely cares about creating beautiful, radiant, and healthy smiles for her patients.
